Last Sundays Horseshow

Hunter is FINALLY a no refusal horse and has all his lead changes AND goes round when asked I'm very proud of him and I really never thought he would turn out this good!

Also I now get to be around horses even more now I have a job at a local barn and I think it will give me an idea of what running a real barn will be like when I'm older very excited!

  1. Glad to hear Hunter is going well for you now. I think working at a barn will do you a lot of good, working at different barns and keeping your horse in different livery yards is a great way to see how you would like to run your own and what sort of thing would be useful to have on it. Good luck with the new job.

  2. Kate, you will love working and getting more horse experience at a barn. That's how my daughter did it. She seemed to stay there 24/7. She now runs our 3 stall barn and pastures and knows exactly what to do and do it correctly. She also barn/horse sits for folks when they go out of town sometimes taking care of 15+ horses, but she loves it. Good luck with your horses. I know you love it. Debi
