Haven't posted in awhile alot going on but i felt July 1st would be a good day to post
Hunters been doing good i ride him in a german martingale at home really helps give him the idea of "OHH!!! im supposed to be round!!" Lately hes been acting different though the normal lazy easy going hunter seems to not be there and now hes really pumped about everything and wants to get everything right or he flips out cant say its bad tho its kinda cute<3 lately ive been thinking about maybe trying him in jumpers or something that involves more speed cuz thats what he seems to want to do
any ideas for different disciplines?

ReplyDeleteI think he'd like jumpers because of the speed too. I could see him going back to barrel racing or doing gymkana games too. I think he would like cross country! I could definately see him galloping across the fields jumping! But to do that you would have to do all three phases (dressage, stadium, and cross country but you already knew that xD). I could see him excelling in stadium, since it's speed and faults. Those would be his strong points in eventing... dressage he would be fine in since he's round and collected but I don't think he would like it as much. You already have everything for eventing too! (except the vest which is required for xc unless you have it) and there are trails right in Rehoboth at Flatlands! Hm.... what else.. I'll think of something else later :P
thanks :) hunter prolly would love cross country, jumpers, maybe dressage but idk any dressage XD so idk how that would work thank you though and spmetime this summer my trails in the woods are going to be a cross country course we already have half of it set up it ll be fun wen its finished your welcome to try it out if you d like later in the summer in case you need somewhere to practice the cross country phase:)
